About

Waterford Football Mom's was formed after the 2012 season by Becky Watral. Becky noticed there were moms that would help the coach with things such as snacks and planning of the end of the year parties. She thought there should be a group of all the moms to expand on this idea. Thus, Waterford Youth Football Moms was born. Becky then was approached by the High School Football Moms in order to work in partnership with them "for the greater good of all Waterford Football moms, from youth through high school".

Since then, the Youth Football Moms have expanded in their objectives. They have been responsible for everything from spirit wear to ImPACT testing for baseline concussion information. Throughout the year, the mom's have some amazing events such as a rummage sale at registration for used football gear, to The Dave Hanson Memorial Game during the season.

Waterford Youth Football Mom's is not just for moms! They include all forms of parents, from step parents, to aunts and grandparents. They invite all to come to meetings and volunteer!

Team Mom Responsibilities

Attend Monthly Meetings
Serve as Liaison Between Teams and Board
Track Attendance
Send Team Communications
Solicit Sponsorships
Coordinate Volunteers for Snacks
Coordinate Charity Baskets
Plan Team Banquet
Coordinate Coaches Gift
Etc.
